El viernes pasado fuimos a ver las iglesias de Eichstätt.
Hay muchas iglesias en Eichstätt porque el obispo Willibald fundó la diócesis allí en el siglo VIII y, desde entonces, ha mantenido una fuerte tradición católica.
On Friday we went to see the churches of Eichstätt.

A continuación, vimos la Schutzengelkirche, que en español significa “Iglesia del Ángel Custodio”.
Es una iglesia jesuita fundada en 1617.
Su característica más destacada son las estatuas de ángeles: en total, la iglesia cuenta con 567 figuras.
